There is great excitement as preparations for the first AFPA Trust Virtual Tour of Britain are well underway. This is your opportunity to be part of the team by joining the Tour and cycling on a stationary bike and/or out on the road … across a seven day period. Organised by Mark Lyons Recruitment, sponsored by LTi Technology Solutions, with all funds raised (including your registration fee) going to The Christie Charitable Fund who support more than 60,000 cancer patients a year!

You even get to choose how and when you you ride

Come on … don’t give up before you start! Here are some of the great Tour features:

• Riders will log all mileage daily on their stationary bicycle or Garmin/Strava device if on the road.
• Riders will send photo evidence of the stats to Mark Lyons by email or WhatsApp Group by 9:30 p.m. each day. No mileage will be accepted without a photo or after 9:30 p.m.
• Riders will also use a Group Charity Page to generate further sponsorship money from their own resources. 100% of this money will go to The Christie Charitable Fund. Donations can be made to the Christie Charitable Fund here:

• Daily Podium Placings will be announced to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for the Stage Winner and Stage Climber.
• Virtual Grand Tour Table will be published daily which includes:
  • Yellow Jersey: Virtual Grand Tour Leader with the most accumulated miles ridden
  • King of Mountains: Virtual Grand Tour Leader with the most miles climbed
• Final results will be announced live at the AFPA Trust Watercooler event, Friday, 14th May 2021.
