£6,500 Raised for the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)

AFPA Trust visit Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) in Mid Sussex to present £6,500 raised from AFPA Trust IOD Drinks charity fundraiser event.

Adrian Langford, Chair of AFPA Trust, and Derek Soper, a Trustee and responsible for the introduction to the RDA charity in Mid Sussex, visited their facility just north of Brighton to present a cheque for £6,500 and meet the volunteers and pupils.  It was a day of learning about the fantastic work and dedication of all those involved and very much appreciated and enjoyed by both Adrian and Derek.

Ruby Grimshaw, Chair of this small branch of over 500 RDA organisations across the UK said on the AFPA visit “We are a very happy, organised group and we love what we do. We are so grateful for every donation we receive. We support both children and adults with disabilities from those with Autism to Blindness. Parents and carers report the calming effect of these weekly visits to RDA. A big thank you to the AFPA Trust for their support”.
